Single Malt TV

At the 29th of September a new tv channel will start on the internet and it is all about the delights of Malt Whisky, the distilleries and everything related to it. The channel is called singlemalt.tv and in the weekend from 9/10 September they visited Islay and filmed the distilleries.

Creative minds behind all this are Charles MacLean, who is “Scotland’s foremost whisky writer,”according to the BBC. The Founding Editor of Whisky Magazine and Contributing Editor of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society’s Newsletter, MacLean has written and lectured prolifically on the subject for 20 years, and Rob Draper. "Rob Draper is one of the entertainment industry's most innovative Directors of Photography. Rob has worked in more than 50 Countries bringing his personal visual style to feature films for major Hollywood Studios."

A nice trailer is available and requires Quicktime. The trailer looks promising, and gives us something to look forward to for the long winter evenings.
