Nessie's ancestors found?
Thursday, October 19 2006
Norwegian scientists found a 150 million year old ‘treasure’ on the island Spitsbergen in Norway, the treasure consists of dinosaur like fossils. Spitsbergen is located 350 miles north of Norway. The most animals belong to extinct groups Plesiosauria and Ichtosauria. According to scientists it’s very unusual that so many fossil remains were found on one location. Scientists discovered 21 fossil dinosaur remains which could have a resemblance with the mythical monster of Loch Ness. Looks like Nessie’s ancestors are finally traced. Now all we have to wait for is the discovery of Nessie.
