nice clear blue skies on islay during the day, then, very uncharecteristically, it snows overnight, which looks really cool (see pic on front of the ileach website < http://www.ileach.co.uk/ >.

however, am i likely to take my very expensive piece of italian carbon fibre out for a cycle on slushy/icy roads?
